Job Responsibilities- Ensure that monthly automations for the creation of journal entries are completed on a timely basis.
- Work with Start-up Team in setting up all new properties.
- Facilitate the running of pre-authorized payments for all properties.
- Act as point person with utility companies in the changeover or creation of new accounts.
- Coordinate with Developers and Previous Management Companies to retrieve all documentation required for utility bills.
- Take on other duties as assigned by Team Lead
- Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards
- Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct
- Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules
- May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
- Undergraduate degree from a post-secondary education institution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Products, specifically Excel.
- Adept with using technology to increase efficiency.
- Data entry and customer service experience is an asset.
- You are a someone that is considered a self-starter that takes on challenges and owns your work
- Solid accounting experience, preferably with Yardi
- You are someone that is eager to learn and grow in the role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- You are effective in managing time and prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
- You are an excellent communicator both verbally and written, to enable collaboration within the organization
- You can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while remaining detail oriented in your work product

- Well organized, resourceful, and able to meet deadlines
