Position Summary:
Were looking for a multi-talented Marketing Specialist who loves tracking trends and figuring out why they work. Someone who can design eye-catching visuals or script a punchy video intro while collaborating across departments and with external partners to drive brand visibility and marketing success.
This role will support our Marketing Lead as a full-time position, contributing to campaigns from brainstorming to launch.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing marketing plans and campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain marketing calendars and timelines for campaigns, social media, and events.
- Work closely with the third-party agency to review and manage social media schedules.
- Assist in developing and editing marketing communications, newsletters, and blog posts, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and strategic objectives.
- Help develop case studies and project profiles.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, trade shows, sponsorships, and industry conferences.
- Assist with content updates on the company website and optimize website content for SEO and user experience to improve search visibility and engagement.
- Support the development of visual assets for website updates, internal communications, and event promotions.
- Coordinate logistics, vendor communications, and promotional materials for events.
- Provide on-site support, ensuring smooth event execution, as needed.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, social media engagement, event attendance, and website traffic.
- Generate reports and insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM records.
- Manage and organize marketing assets, collateral, and templates.
Health and Safety:
- Reads, understands, and follows Milestones Corporate Health and Safety Program, Policy and Procedures.
- Ensure health and safety is considered in the performance of all activities both on and off the job. Participation in H & S initiatives will be monitored and reviewed, as necessary.
Experience Required:
- 24 years of experience in a marketing, content, or design role
- A passion for branding and a sharp eye for visual details
- Exceptional organizational skills to keep projects moving
- Experience with social media management and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
- Experience with SEO best practices and website content management systems (WordPress or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate multiple, often competing, tasks and timelines.
- Comfortable working and collaborating with all levels of the organization.
- Strong Computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Keen to take on challenges and contribute to the success of the team and company.
Bonus Points:
- Strong portfolio of graphic design and/or multimedia content (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.)
- If you see a gap, you jump in to close it.
- Propose ideas, run experiments, track performance, and refine based on data.
- Stay plugged into whats trending then turn that into relevant, brand-aligned content.
Work Environment:
This role is a remote or a hybrid position allocated to any of our offices across Canada. Travel will likely not be needed except for strategic sessions if required.
