About the Role
As a key member of the Maintenance & Reliability team, you'll work on initiatives that include equipment criticality analysis, developing maintenance strategies, and supporting safety-critical
asset programs.
What You'll Do:
- Lead or support criticality analysis and asset strategy development.
- Review project drawings and update SAP PM data in line with corporate standards.
- Build equipment hierarchies and asset data from major projects.
- Support identification and maintenance planning for Safety Critical Equipment (SCE).
- Develop risk-based maintenance strategies using RCM tools.
- Analyze KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create Equipment BOMs and recommend inventory levels.
- Contribute to work planning, scheduling improvements, and training material development.
Deliverables Include:
- Standardized equipment hierarchies
- Risk-based criticality assessments
- Optimized maintenance plans and strategies
- Equipment BOMs and inventory recommendations
What We're Looking For:
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Licensed P.Eng. or EIT registered with APEGS
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering preferred (other disciplines considered with relevant experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Maintenance & Reliability in oil & gas
- Experience in Thermal (SAGD) or upstream operations is an asset
- Familiarity with SAP PM, RCM, and safety standards
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
