Job Description

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative team responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers enterprise-level applications. This role plays a critical part in enabling seamless software integration, deployment, and operations by partnering with development, QA, and IT teams. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cloud platforms (primarily AWS and Azure), DevOps tooling, automation, security, and infrastructure management. You'll drive best practices, build CI/CD pipelines, and enhance system performance, availability, and reliability across environments.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

8+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure role

MUST have Experience working in a Windows dominated environment

Strong track record managing cloud-native environments and automating infrastructure

Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (preferred)

Deep experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.)

Proficiency with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)

Strong understanding of scalable systems architecture, microservices, and SaaS deployments

Skilled in scripting, automated testing frameworks, and performance monitoring tools

Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and agile software development environments

Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment

Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset

Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

Experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning technical solutions with business goals

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC), including performance tuning, cost management, and networking

Maintain web, file, and database servers (IIS, SQL), ensuring reliability, security, and high availability

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools

Monitor infrastructure using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Datadog, and respond to system alerts

Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures

Enforce security best practices and conduct periodic audits and access reviews

Support development and QA teams during releases and troubleshoot production issues

Contribute to agile ceremonies and collaborate on infrastructure planning
