Challenge/Role

The successful candidate will be key in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Architect proficient in both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal cloud-based solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

Cloud Strategy and Planning:

• Develop comprehensive cloud strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and project goals.

Architecture Design:

• Design scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Create architectural diagrams, documentation, and guidelines for cloud projects.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards.

Implementation and Deployment:

• Lead the implementation of cloud-based solutions.
• Oversee the deployment of applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure components.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement robust security measures in cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and availability.
• Implement strategies for continuous optimization and cost management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project updates and challenges.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Working with offshore development teams.

Training and Documentation:

• Develop and deliver training programs on cloud technologies.
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.

About You

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and deployment.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with expertise in AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• In-depth understanding of cloud environment networking, security, and identity management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in AWS and Azure are highly desirable.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products.
