Metaguest – SMB Account Executive

Base Salary: $60,000–$100,000 CAD (tiered by experience and performance) + Uncapped residual commission
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000–$150,000+ CAD
About the Role
We're hiring full-cycle SMB Account Executives to join our high-performing sales team. This role is designed for professionals with strong B2B sales experience who are seeking long-term career growth in a recurring revenue model. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured, performance-oriented environments and are looking to build a long-term career in recurring revenue sales.
As an Account Executive at Metaguest, you will own the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to demos, deal closing, and post-sale account management. You'll be targeting local businesses that align with our hospitality partners, working with a product that delivers consistent value, and building lasting client relationships that contribute directly to recurring revenue.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close recurring revenue deals with SMBs across key hospitality markets.
- Work directly with business owners to guide adoption and maintain deal health through launch and activation.
- Focus on building high-retention subscription partnerships that scale over time.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Success to align client needs with platform improvements and campaign delivery.
- Use our CRM and sales systems to manage pipeline, measure performance, and refine outreach strategies.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3+ years of experience in full-cycle B2B sales
- Past experience with recurring revenue models (SaaS, media, fintech, hospitality)
- Strong ability to communicate value in short-cycle deals
- Organized, self-accountable, and confident working toward targets
- Comfortable managing both outreach and deal closure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-builder with attention to long-term client value
- CRM proficiency and data awareness in managing your pipeline
Compensation & Incentives
90-Day Onboarding Period:
- $40,000–$60,000 CAD Base Salary (tiered by experience) + uncapped residual commission
Post-Onboarding:
- $60,000–$100,000 CAD Base Salary (OTE: $90,000 - $150,000+)
- Uncapped Residual Commission
