WHAT YOU'LL DO
 Support the Plant Manager and work closely with the Production Manager in overseeing daily
production activities, ensuring operational efficiency and quality control.
 Plan and coordinate production schedules, balancing material availability and labor
requirements.
 Optimize plant equipment and workforce utilization to increase production capacity and reduce
costs.
 Collect, maintain, and analyze production data to improve efficiency and inform decision-
making.
 Maintain high-quality standards while developing and implementing new processing
procedures.
 Assist with logistics for all incoming and outgoing products to ensure smooth operations.
 Train, develop and collaborate with plant staff to build a strong and capable team.
 Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement best practices to maintain a safe
work environment.
 Troubleshoot operational challenges, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.
 Assist as needed by operating our forklifts both inside and outside our production and cold
storage areas.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
 Previous experience in seafood processing industry required.
 Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate a team.
 Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 Strong organizational and time management abilities.
 Experience with plant operations, or production scheduling.
 Knowledge of seafood safety regulations and processing best practices.
 Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
 Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management abilities.
 Fluent English skills; fluency in Chinese, Japanese or Vietnamese is an asset.
 A proactive mindset and ability to work well with the team in a collaborative environment.
