Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Carpenters are responsible for the construction of Custom Cubes' projects. Carpenters are knowledgeable in their trades and are versatile in their skillset. Passionate about quality and precision, and in turn, customer satisfaction. They are skilled and careful, ensuring safe work practices are prioritized.
Responsibilities:

• Insulating and panelling interior walls.
• Installing windows and interior doors.
• Flooring.
• Trimming and finishing interiors.
• Keeping the common work area and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed.
• Working collaboratively with others to complete construction.
• Prepping materials in preparation for each job.
• Constructing projects according to specs provided by project plans.
• Troubleshooting construction-related issues and involving the Production Supervisor to resolve issues, where necessary.
• Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools.
• 3 years minimum of carpentry experience.
• General knowledge gained from experience, of the following skills: Carpentry, door and window installation, wall panelling, and finishing.
• Specialized trades experience in addition to 3 years of general trades experience, is considered an asset.
• Team-oriented and positive attitude.
• Ability to keep job site tidy and organized.
• Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
• Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
