Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee financial management and reporting for our dynamic construction organization. The Controller will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and streamline internal processes to support business growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to guide business decisions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams, providing financial insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure timely submission and compliance of all taxation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure continuous professional growth and effective department management.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation required.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, preferably within the construction or real estate development sectors.
• Proven leadership and managerial skills, with experience managing teams.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient with financial systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific accounting practices, including project accounting and cost management.
