Aplin has partnered with a leading Canadian-owned audiovisual provider to hire an Account Manager for Edmonton (and the surrounding area).
About the Role We are seeking a motivated sales professional with 1-3 years of experience in either audiovisual, construction or corporate sales. Our client has a proven track record of delivering comprehensive AV solutions across education, government, corporate, construction, and institutional sectors.
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in building long-term business relationships and providing expert insights on advanced AV technologies. You will help businesses enhance their events, whether through corporate meetings, video conferences, or large-scale productions featuring cutting-edge lighting, staging, and audio-visual systems.

- Base Salary: $50k– $60k, with on-target earnings (OTE) exceeding $100k-$120k per year

- Manage and grow an assigned territory, maintaining relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for multiple accounts, representing the company professionally.
- Generate new sales opportunities by reaching out to prospects in the region.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote the company.
- Collaborate with the Systems Design team to develop customized AV solutions.
- Prepare and deliver AV system and component quotations and RFP submissions.
- Conduct site inspections, client consultations, sales presentations, and negotiations.
- Stay up to date on company products, services, and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (occasional evenings and weekends as needed).
- Travel: Some travel to rural areas within the assigned territory, though not excessive.
