Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Hamilton, ON. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising on their appropriate use, and providing personalized care to clients. Daily tasks include reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, counseling patients on medication usage, monitoring patient health and progress, managing pharmaceutical stock, and collaborating with other health care professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Skills in dispensing medications and reviewing prescriptions for accuracy
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and their appropriate usage
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling
• Experience in monitoring patient health and progress
• Ability to manage pharmaceutical stock effectively
• Collaboration and teamwork skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Ontario, in good standing
• Methadone dispensing experience
• Diabetes management, smoking cessation, other designations an asset
