The ideal candidate will have experience with personal and corporate tax filings as well as experience working on complex tax compilations

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers
• Personal tax filings; experience with investment income
• Corporate tax filings; public, private and owner-managed business
• Tax filings and complex tax planning
• Prepare financial statements and NTR
• Problem-solving and answering client inquiries
• Support the rest of the firm
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience within a public accounting firm
• Sounds knowledge is the tax filing process
• Must have experience with 2-3+ tax seasons in Canada.
• CPA designation or final stages required
• Client-service acumen, with strong communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills
