What you will achieve in this role:
• Lead the full recruitment life cycle, including conducting needs assessments with hiring managers, creating and broadcasting positions, screening applicants, conducting behavioural interviews and managing the hiring manager and candidate experience.
• Develop and execute creative, cost effective, innovative and productive sourcing strategies including leveraging multiple tools, professional affiliations and social networking.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the applicable talent pool and competitive business market to attract and source top talent; establish and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to continually build and maintain a talent pipeline.
• Guide and support hiring managers on recruitment related decisions, including candidate selection and offer details; deliver formal interview skills training sessions to hiring managers.
• Negotiate and present offers to selected candidates; prepare offer letters.
• Engage in continuous improvement by analyzing resourcing metrics and implementing feedback where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment and organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; review and update policies and procedures as required; utilize the recruitment management system effectively to drive recruiting activities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry is MUST HAVE.
• Client service and interpersonal skills; organization and time management skills; strong attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (experience working with specific systems considered an asset).
• Experience sourcing and hiring through professional networks, including proven ability to build talent pipelines and conduct effective searches.
• Knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
