We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Applications Engineer

This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact by combining your technical expertise and innovative mindset to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions in nuclear and automation applications.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Designing, testing, and optimizing systems and components for nuclear or automation projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions.
• Preparing technical proposals, project plans, and cost estimates.
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support for existing systems.
• Engaging with clients to understand project requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in nuclear and automation technologies.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in nuclear, automation, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.

Preferred Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, or motion control systems.
• Familiarity with nuclear codes and standards (e.g., CSA N285).
• Proven track record of successful project management.
• Advanced knowledge of simulation tools and techniques.

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 + overtime
