Project Development Consultant – Infrastructure Advisory

A growing infrastructure advisory firm is looking to add a Project Development Consultant to its team. The firm supports early-stage project development through to financial close, working on a variety of capital projects in energy and infrastructure across North America and internationally.

This is a great opportunity to join a small but experienced team working on high-impact initiatives with developers, investors, and public/private partners.

What You'll Do

You'll help shape and advance infrastructure projects from concept through execution. Current mandates involve large-scale developments across North America with a focus on technical feasibility, investment readiness, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Support the structuring and execution of complex development projects
• Contribute to financial modelling, investment analysis, and project de-risking
• Coordinate with engineering teams on design development and feasibility studies
• Manage permitting processes and regulatory approvals
• Interface with investors, legal advisors, and technical consultants
• Lead or support procurement and contracting processes
• Identify project risks and support strategies to increase execution confidence

What We're Looking For

• Background in infrastructure, energy, or project development
• Experience in one or more areas: project finance, permitting, engineering, or stakeholder engagement
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams across diverse projects
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a lean, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
