About Tectonic Metals:

Tectonic Metals Inc. is a bold, fast-moving exploration company with a clear mission: discover and advance high-quality mineral projects that can drive long-term value. As we enter the next phase of live drill projects, we are expanding our team and seeking a Project Geologist ready to step into a dynamic environment where curiosity, adaptability, and ownership are at the heart of everything we do.

This is your chance to join a forward-thinking team that is passionate about pushing boundaries, integrating cutting-edge technical work, and making a meaningful impact on the future of exploration.

Your Impact

As a Project Geologist at Tectonic Metals, you will play a pivotal role in designing, executing, and refining exploration programs that directly influence the success of our drill campaigns. Your expertise in geological interpretation, modeling, and data management will deepen our orebody knowledge, shape program strategy, and help deliver tangible results.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

  • Conduct detailed core logging, geological mapping, and geologic interpretations to inform exploration strategies.
  • Contribute to short- and long-term exploration planning, program design, and budgeting alongside senior geoscientists.
  • Execute and uphold rigorous QA/QC protocols for assays, survey data, and drillhole validations.
  • Compile technical work proposals, progress reports, and performance reviews of active programs.
  • Update exploration models and recommend adjustments to drilling plans based on evolving field results.
  • Collaborate effectively with drill contractors, analytical labs, and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to integrate fieldwork insights into broader project generation and evaluation initiatives.

Prerequisites for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences or a related field.
  • Registered (or eligible) as a P.Geo or Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT).
  • Minimum 1–3 years of exploration experience, ideally in a mining or remote field environment.
  • Solid understanding of ore deposit models, lithology, alteration, and structural geology.
  • Experience with geological software (Leapfrog, Acquire, GIS platforms) is an asset.
  • Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis practices and QA/QC protocols.
  • Willingness and capability to work in remote, field-based settings, with exposure to diverse weather and terrain conditions.
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and operational teams.

Why Join Tectonic Metals?

At Tectonic, we're more than an exploration company - we're a cohesive, can-do team with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for discovery. We believe in thinking big, leaning into curiosity, and turning challenges into opportunities.

This is a unique chance to step into a high-energy role at a company that's not just exploring mineral potential but redefining what a modern exploration team can achieve. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, bring your best ideas forward, and help us shape the future of mineral exploration, we want to hear from you.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary that reflects your experience, qualifications, and the value you bring to the team. Please note, only those under consideration for the position will be contacted.

Qualifying questions:

Describe a time when you had to adjust a drilling or exploration plan mid-project due to unexpected results or conditions. What did you do, and what was the outcome?

What excites you most about joining a dynamic, small-team environment like Tectonic Metals - especially compared to working in a larger mining company?

Working in remote field environments can be challenging. How do you personally prepare for this work and maintain focus and motivation in camp?

Tell us about an exploration or geological insight you contributed that influenced a project's direction or decision-making. How did you spot the opportunity?

What geological software platforms are you most familiar with, and how have you used them to improve your interpretations or recommendations?

Do you have the correct paperwork for employment in the US (our Alaska Project)?
