Compliance and Regulatory Lead
FinVentures Canada is an established Kitchener, Ontario based Fintech company. We have an experienced team who have successfully developed and commercialized technology solutions.
We currently have an opportunity to bring products to market for use in business and consumer facing applications. We have a need for a Compliance and Regulatory Lead to develop, implement and ultimately lead our compliance program and team with Canadian financial regulations, including, but not limited to, those set by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), Bank of Canada and Payments Canada rules.
Well-roundedness, flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively are assets that you will bring to the role and team. In addition, you will preferably have demonstrated experience and/or interest in the following:
- Policy development and implementation in accordance with financial regulations and protocols such as FINTRAC and the Bank of Canada's Retail Payments Activities Act
- Technical solutions to manage reporting related to relevant regulations/protocols
- Transaction processing, banking systems, ID management and financial industry standards
- Managing external consultants and/or leading compliance teams
- Formal process documentation standards such as PCI-DSS and/or ISO (considered an asset but not a requirement)
