Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Toronto

About the Role:

We're a lean, fast-moving team managing the infrastructure and deployment pipeline of a modern cloud-native platform running on AWS. We're looking to add a 4th DevOps Engineer to help us scale, with a focus on managing deployments and maintaining infrastructure stability across our AWS-hosted services.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and maintain infrastructure in AWS, primarily within EKS
• Handle platform deployments and release cycles
• Collaborate closely with the existing DevOps team to optimize CI/CD workflows
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Leverage AWS services such as RDS, Lambda, and Memcached

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• AWS (including services like EKS, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Kubernetes (K8s)
• Docker
• Solid understanding of cloud-native application deployment and infrastructure-as-code principles
• A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a small, high-impact team

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Exposure to security best practices in AWS environments
