Skills and responsibilities:

• We are seeking a Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for applications,

• ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with industry standards, and smooth execution of test cycles.

• The ideal candidate should have strong Utility Operations domain expertise,

• experience in test planning and execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.

• Additionally, exposure to test automation, including Tosca, is preferred.

• Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for applications,

• ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with industry standards, and smooth execution of test cycles. The ideal candidate should have strong Utility Operations domain expertise,

• experience in test planning and execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.

• Additionally, exposure to test automation, including Tosca, is preferred.

• Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.

• Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.

• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements. Defect Management & Quality Assurance:

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.

• Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution.

• Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations.

• Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders. Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable, particularly in API testing and workflow validation.

• Exposure to Tosca or other automation tools for improving test efficiency.

• Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, though manual testing remains the primary focus. Stakeholder & Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a testing team, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles smoothly.

• Engage in client discussions, requirement analysis, and testing sign-offs to ensure business expectations are met.
