The Lousbury Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Information & Communication Technology Manager to support our ICT team and our business units.
We require a conscientious, highly motivated, and career-minded ICT Manager to ensure the effective operation of information technology services and support across our organization. This individual will oversee IT project management, resource management, supervision of IT staff, and communicate with the executive team, business unit leaders, and end users. The ICT Manager will also be responsible for IT strategic and tactical planning, as well as the identification, selection, and deployment of appropriate technological resources that will support corporate goals and objectives.

- Managing IT Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective support for all technology-related needs.
- Office 365 Administration: Manage and maintain Office 365 applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for all users.
- Cybersecurity: Monitor cybersecurity software to protect company data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Microsoft Suite Security: Utilize Microsoft Suite for security measures, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and compliance.
- Hardware Management: Oversee the maintenance and support of printers, photocopiers, phones, and other office equipment.
- Network Security: Manage Fortinet firewalls and switches, ensuring secure and reliable network connectivity.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all IT-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure the best service and support for the company.
- Compliance and Training: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and provide training to staff on IT policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of direct work experience in an IT management capacity required.
- Advanced overall knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server architectures
- Proficiency with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies.
- Effective project management skills.
- Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
This position requires you to work on-site at our Lounsbury Chevrolet dealership at 2155 West Main Street. Travel within the province of New Brunswick is required.
