At CM2 Media, we're a high-energy, fast-moving digital marketing agency based in Burlington, Ontario. Our client roster includes national brands, dynamic regional businesses, and everything in between – all looking for bold, creative, and data-driven digital campaigns.

We're a small, agile team of marketers, designers, and developers who love what we do – and our clients love working with us. Because of that, we're growing, and now we're looking for a Social Media Marketing Guru to join us full-time.

Who We're Looking For:

You're a content wizard, a trend spotter, and a digital storyteller who lives and breathes social media. You know how to grow and engage online communities, and you have a passion for turning strategy into scroll-stopping content. You move fast, adapt easily, and bring creative ideas to life.

If you have the following skills and experiences, we want to hear from you:

  • 1–2 years of experience working in social media, digital marketing, or content creation

  • Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter)

  • Experience using social media planning and analytics tools (Meta Suite, Hootsuite, etc.)

  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • A creative eye and basic design skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud tools preferred)

  • Solid writing skills – from short-form captions to campaign messaging

  • Great organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple content calendars

About the Role:

You'll work closely with our marketing and creative teams to plan, create, and execute social media campaigns for CM2 Media and our amazing clients. This includes content strategy, creation, posting, monitoring, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow social media accounts (FB, IG, X, LinkedIn, TikTok)

  • Develop monthly content calendars and publishing schedules

  • Create content: write captions, source or shoot visuals, produce short videos

  • Engage with online audiences, monitor comments/messages, and identify trends

  • Track and analyze performance metrics; suggest strategies for improvement

  • Photography/videography for events or social content

  • Video editing (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

  • Graphic design support (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)

Secondary Responsibilities (Bonus if you can do these too):

  • Support broader digital campaigns (email marketing, blogs, SEO content, etc.)

  • Collaborate on paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)

  • Writing for blogs, newsletters, or email campaigns

Why Join Us?

At CM2 Media, we offer big-agency expertise with small-agency hustle. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued, your creativity is encouraged, and your skills have room to grow. Whether we're jamming in the office or syncing online, we keep things fast, flexible, and fun.

We're looking for someone who loves what they do and brings that energy to the team – someone who wants to build, create, and make a real impact.

Interested? Here's What to Submit:

To be considered, please send us:

  1. Your résumé/CV (skills, experience, references, etc.)

  2. A portfolio or samples that show your social media chops (Instagram accounts, content, campaigns, etc.)

  3. A brief paragraph (100 words max) on why you're the Social Media Guru we're missing

Incomplete applications won't be reviewed, so be sure to include all three items.

We appreciate all applications – only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
