We are looking for a manager to lead and grow our Edmonton oxygen program. A natural leader and coach who will empower our clinical team to reach their full potential and provide them with meaningful support. CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a caring and charismatic leader who is energized each day by helping their team succeed through building them up personally and professionally, as well as celebrating their passion for helping our clients live their best lives. We will trust in your experience and abilities to make strategic decisions for your operations, and you may call on the leadership teams many years of experience for support with anything outside of your wheelhouse so you continue to professionally grow. We believe that strong business practices are the result of planning, and you will have strong acumen in goal-setting, building budgets and executing on strategic plans. We are highly automated and expect you to be proficient in MS Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Teams, as well as a quick study in learning new software.

THE ROLE

  • Manage and lead a team of Registered Respiratory Therapists andHome Oxygen Technicians
    • Participate in recruitment, on/offboarding, as well as performance management
    • Support staff development and facilitate growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for client growth, in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Develop annual budgets and lead the team to achieve your strategic plan
  • Deliver financial and operational updates to management and leadership
  • Collaborate with the Director and management team to support growth initiatives
  • Develop and advance professional business relationships with the wider respiratory health community in the greater Edmonton region
  • Develop, maintain and grow business relationships with provincial health agencies and funding entities, such as:
    • Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL)
    • Alberta Blue Cross (ABC)
    • Alberta Health Agencies/Entities (Acute Care Alberta, Primary Care Alberta, etc.)
    • Respiratory Homecare Association of Alberta (RHCAA)
    • College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA)
    • Indigenous Services Canada (NIHB)
  • Identify new opportunities for growth to support our core business

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Being a graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy and registered with CRTA is a strong asset, but is not required as we welcome applicants with relevant post-secondary education and business experience
  • Management and leadership experience in healthcare service delivery
  • Experience with the oxygen/sleep disorders therapeutics industry in Alberta is preferred
  • Valid class 5 Alberta Drivers License and acceptable Drivers Abstract
  • Clear Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Search

  • This is a full-time position, with a 37.5-hour work week
