Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of municipal water/wastewater projects.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring compliance with client objectives.
- Serve as the primary client contact, driving scope approvals and pursuing additional opportunities.
- Identify and secure new business, fostering client relationships and industry connections.
- Lead technical reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee quality management processes and construction administration.
- Manage subconsultants to meet project goals and quality expectations.
- Mentor and direct technical staff, fostering a professional and collaborative environment.
- Support team forecasting, hiring, and performance evaluations.
- Develop procedures to enhance project management excellence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and develop departmental procedures.
- Administer project budgets and track financial performance.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field; P.Eng. or C.E.T. designation required.
- Over 10 years of municipal project management experience in consulting or municipal environments.
- Expertise in roadway design, stormwater management, and environmental assessments.
- Proven leadership, client relations, and business development skills.
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
