Position: Product Marketing Associate (12 months)

Job Description
Texada is seeking a detail-oriented Product Marketing Associate to support our product marketing efforts in promoting our SaaS solutions within the heavy equipment industry. The ideal candidate will help develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive product awareness and support the overall growth of our business.
Work location and travel
- Remote/Hybrid work environment (primarily remote work with occasional travel to Mississauga office).
- Candidates should be authorized to work in Canada without restriction or sponsorship.
- This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract.
How you will be contributing
- Partner with the Product team and cross-functional stakeholders to execute the Product Launch Process and initiate Go-to-Market strategies aligned with our launch framework.
- Execute specific product-marketing initiatives aligned to strategic goals, with clear ownership of assigned deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
- Utilize a customer-first approach, working backward from customer insights and market needs, to help craft compelling positioning, messaging and enablement materials.
- Develop competitive battlecards and other comparison tools in response to sales team needs and broader organizational requirements, to enable confident customer conversations.
- Support the development of impactful sales enablement and marketing assets, such as pitch decks, ROI tools, demo materials, blog posts, email campaigns, and webinars, that showcase our product's strengths, support the sales lifecycle, and drive customer engagement.
- Regularly audit and monitor performance metrics for your initiatives, document outcomes clearly and concisely to support internal communication.
- Identify and escalate challenges proactively, communicating clearly with your manager and relevant stakeholders to maintain transparency and effectiveness.
- Continuously recommend and implement improvements to team processes, tools, and customer-facing materials.
What we are hoping to find in your background
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in product marketing with B2B experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, compelling messaging, and a persuasive writing style.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A good understanding of marketing principles and strategies
- Operates as a strong team player willing to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Fast learner, detail-oriented, and must enjoy dynamic work environments
- Knowledge or interest in the heavy equipment industry is a plus
How to grab our attention
- Previous experience crafting go-to-market strategies and conducting market research using primary and secondary sources
- Previous experience in leveraging points of differentiation to position a unique product's value proposition across numerous channels
- Previous exposure to competitive analysis, market positioning, or customer-centric, value based messaging development is highly beneficial.
- Proven experience being self-directed and working with minimal supervision.
- Experience creating sales collateral from scratch based on sales conversations, sales calls, product interviews, user interviews, market research, and your own experience.
