We are currently looking for a Donor Relations & Development Officer for Saskatchewan to be located at either of our Regina or Saskatoon bases in the Foundation department.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the specific advancement of the STARS planned giving program and major gifts in Saskatchewan, including but not limited to:
- Support the Foundation's efforts to raise critical funds for mission operations through Major Gifts and Planned Giving
- Driving strategic relations in Saskatchewan by meeting and exceeding activity targets (discovery calls, face to face meetings, submitted proposals and successful solicitations) as mutually agreed upon with the Director of Development
- Identifying, cultivating, solicitating and stewardship of planned giving, major gifts. sponsorships to the foundation which will include identifying new prospects as well as growing current donor relationships
- Implement current marketing strategies and activities for STARS planned giving program, while assisting in the creation and development of new marketing initiatives in collaboration with planned giving, marketing and communications team members
- Travel is required within Saskatchewan
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Post secondary degree an asset in a related field, a combination of education and experience will be acceptable
- 4 to 5 years' experience in Major Gift Fundraising with individuals, specific experience with planned giving fundraising is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build excellent working relationships with donors, allied professionals and fellow team members
- Experience in the development of planned giving initiatives is an asset
