Position
- Setup, maintain, troubleshoot and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and related computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
- Provide problem-solving services to users.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining MS Windows 11 Workstations
- Understanding and resolving client LAN or WAN networking issues
- Installing and maintaining switches/routers and managed switches
- Installing, and managing small business servers
- Maintaining a Server 2019/2025 environment
- Supporting user requests and performing remote installations
- Assisting users with access problems ranging from password resets to network access failures
- Troubleshooting client-side network connectivity issues including digital authentication, remote access, software provisioning, communication
- Consulting user guides, technical manuals and other documents
- Providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
- Set up of equipment including installation of network equipment and supporting infrastructure
Ideally, you are certified or have experience in:
- Customer-facing role
- Windows 11 operating systems
- Window Server 2019/25.
- Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Office apps
- Remote support software (Connectwise, TeamViewer, Anydesk, ScreenConnect)
- Linux/pfSense/Cisco/OpenVPN
- Support ticket tool management : (i.e. Kaseya, Jira, Zendesk, NinjaOne, Desk365)
Desired knowledge of any of the following:
- Video collaboration (Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting, Google Meet)
- Cloud services, filesharing systems
- MacOS/iCloud support
- iPhone/Android smartphone support
