About Brandish

Brandish is an independently owned creative agency that helps ambitious organizations clarify who they are, how they show up, and what they say. We're a tight-knit team that works fast, thinks deeply, and brings big ideas to life across brand, digital, media, and marketing. If you're looking for a role where you can influence growth, connect with purpose-driven brands, and help shape whats next, wed love to hear from you.

About the Project Manager role

In this role, youll keep projects moving, teams aligned, and clients in the loop. Youll work closely with both a dedicated Agency Sponsor (who owns the overall client relationship, and with whom you share a book of business) and our Director, Operations (who oversees how we work across the agency).

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in a creative or marketing agency who enjoys bringing structure to chaos translating ideas into clear plans, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Our Project Managers focus on:

  • Managing projects from start to finish
  • Aligning team activity with client objectives
  • Keeping momentum, removing roadblocks and delivering work to clients
  • Leading teams through unforeseen challenges and moments of uncertainty
  • Supporting Operations to understand project profitability, timelines and status over time

More specifically, this role requires you to:

  • Develop workback schedules and project plans
  • Maintain change logs
  • Coordinate meetings and schedules (internal and external)
  • Negotiate priorities with other PMs to manage agency capacity
  • Onboard teams (internal and external) onto projects and ensure everyone knows what theyre responsible for and has what they need to deliver
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, coworkers, vendors, and Brandish Partners.
  • Align with Operations and other Project Managers to manage shared budgets and contribute to best practices, templates, and knowledge sharing across the team
  • Keep things moving Youll need to identify roadblocks, come up with solutions (sometimes step outside your comfort zone) and make sure team expectations are realistic and being met.
  • Keep information and resources organized and easily accessible.

While your initial focus will be on project management and delivery, were looking for someone who is excited to deepen client relationships, shape strategic direction, and take on shared ownership of a book of business in the future. We see this as a launchpad for someone whos eager to learn and grow into a leadership role expanding from managing timelines and deliverables to owning client outcomes and contributing to account growth in the long-term.

Who youll work with

She helps standardize how we work, supports all PMs with problem-solving and decision-making when needed, helps manage external relationships and facilitates professional development.
  • Other Brandish team members. Including our Creative Director, art directors, graphic designers, copywriters and our Director, Digital Performance & Growth.
  • Our clients.
  • External vendors. From freelance copywriters and animators to video production companies, voiceover artists and web development agencies youll manage expectations and timelines with any external partners that each project requires.
