Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in St. Thomas, ON. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Coordinate and develop new product integration, including gauging, ITP, and first article inspection.
• Conduct initial qualification testing of manufactured/machined products during preproduction and prototype stages.
• Assist in set up, provide required gauging and conduct First Off Inspections.
• Provide technical support for Machined, Welded and Assembled products.
• Participate in solving quality problems including supplier, internal, and customer.
• Ensure necessary quality-related tools and procedures are available, controlled and used correctly and efficiently
• Assist in conducting inspection and testing finished products, raw materials and subcontracted intermediate products.
• Ensure the orderliness, cleanliness and efficiency of the Quality Department.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management, product testing or inspection (Experience acquired in Canada).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with customer ISO, first article inspection and data entry tools.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in CMM programming, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and be able to read blueprints.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the use of computers in the analysis of data.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing process control
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operation (Calypso, MCOSMOS, or similar software).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in using hand tools for precision measurement (callipers, micrometres)

• Certified Quality Technician (CQT) from ASQ or equivalent certification.
• Ability to run a CMM in both manual and auto mode.
• Ability to program CMM with Calypso & MCOSMOS software

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Ability to pass a vision test for colour & acuity.
