What We're Looking For:
We're hiring an Accounting Coordinator with strong Accounts Receivable experience and a solid understanding of the transportation or logistics sector. This full-time, permanent role reports to the Accounting Specialist.
This is a dynamic and detail-oriented role with key responsibilities including:
- Managing Accounts Receivable and ensuring customer accounts are up to date
- Preparing and processing invoices, payments, deposits, and reconciliations
- Communicating with customers and vendors via phone and email regarding outstanding balances, discrepancies, and documentation
- Generating weekly payments, reconciling vendor statements, and credit card transactions
- Supporting general finance functions and administrative tasks
- Collaborating closely with remote finance team members and operations teams
- You have 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or transportation
- You have a strong grasp of Accounts Receivable processes, and you catch discrepancies quickly and accurately
- You are adaptable, organized, and thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross-functional teams
- You have sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
- Bonus: Experience with accounting software or a background in freight/logistics accounting
