We are currently seeking a Guest Service Lead to join us at Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub in Vancouver!
Located at the Beach Avenue entrance of Stanley Park, our Brewpub & Restaurant is nestled amongst the pitch & putt, lawn bowling and tennis courts, and just steps away from some of the best recreational trails and viewpoints in Vancouver.
This is a fixed-term opportunity ending October 15th, 2024, with the opportunity for an extension. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available!
As a Guest Service Lead, you are responsible for creating a world-class guest experience from the moment our guests arrive at the Host Stand. As a leader, you exude genuine warmth and care and seek opportunities to deliver the unexpected. You treat each guest as a VIP, delivering a highly orchestrated, seamless and personalized guest experience. The team looks to you for your leadership and professionalism; you are unwavering in demanding and challenging situations.
As a Guest Service Lead, you will:
- Create and maintain the flow of the restaurant. Create and maintain the flow of guests into the restaurant to ensure our Culinary & Service teams can deliver an exceptional product.
- Work with technology to enhance the guest experience. Support the teams around you using guest interaction technologies including Skip the Dishes, Door Dash, OpenTable and more.
- Create authentic connections in every interaction. Elevate the guest experience through fun, engaging and meaningful conversations with guests.
- Be a problem solver and a supportive team player. Tackle problems by using your multi-tasking and communication skills and be empowered to make decisions for you and your team members.
- Listen to your guests' comments and queries. Resolve customer complaints, requests and queries as they arise.
Terms of Employment
- This is a seasonal opportunity ending October 15, 2024, with the opportunity for an extension
- Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Compensation is $20.00 per hour plus gratuity share and free meal each shift
- Part-time or Full-time (up to 40 hours per week) flexible schedule with the ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Anticipated start date March/April
