Salary:

We are currently hiring 4th and Journeyman Pipefitters to head our to a camp job ASAP. Must be able to complete onboarding, site orientations, complete A&D/Fit test before going to site. Must be able to drive their own

Our Offer:

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 4th or Journeyman Pipefitter certification
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)
  • Oil/Gas Operations and Industrial experience
  • Turnaround experience is required
  • Breathing Air/Mask experience is required
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 45 Kg
  • Extensive knowledge of:
    • Industrial hygiene
    • Ergonomics
    • Personal protective equipment requirements
    • Gas monitoring
    • Basic hand and power tools
    • Selection, care, inspection and operation of respiratory protective equipment
    • Material handling / rigging experience
    • Workers must be competent in use of fall protection
    • Occupational health and safety regulations, safety programs (company and client)
    • Ability to read / complete complex piping diagrams and P&IDs, identify isolation points and justify locations
    • Industry best practices in pipefitting practices

Safety Ticket Requirements:

  • H2S Alive
  • First Aid with AED, 2 Day Course

Assets to Have

  • Journeyman Certification
  • Class 5 Driver's License
  • Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry & Monitor
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and remove steam and glycol heat tracing
  • Blinding and de-blinding
  • Use of hydraulic and pneumatic torquing equipment, critical torquing
  • Use various hand/power tools and other equipment
  • Stand, sit, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Perform QA/QC inspections of completed work
  • Actively participate in safety meetings, tool box meetings, permit and hazard assessment reviews.
  • Prepare hazard assessments as appropriate
  • Complete required inspection records for PPE and equipment
  • Wear specialized personal protective equipment at all times
  • Follow directions accurately, attention to detail
