Job Overview
We are seeking a experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our collision repair facility. As the General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of our facility - managing work flow and processes, and ensuring we meet performance, quality, and established customer service benchmarks. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage staff, ensure high-quality service, and maintain a strong working environment. The Shop Manager will report directly to ownership.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop operations in a DRP focused collision repair facility, including scheduling and workflow management
- Implement and uphold streamlined process driven to maximize efficiency
- Lead, motivate, and develop a strong team of technicians, estimators, and admin staff to enhance skills and knowledge in collision repair
- Manage KPIs and DRP relationships - ensuring quality, productivity, and cycle time standards are met and exceeded
- Ensure all repairs are performed efficiently and meet OEM standards
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and reporting to meet all goals set by ownership
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to services provided
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of collision facility experience in a managerial role
- Proven success managing DRP accounts and process - centric environments
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Record of team building, conflict resolution, and employee development
- Strong time management and organizational abilities - thrive under pressure
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and drive results in a deadline-driven operation.
