Job Title: Event Registration Hostess
Locations & Dates:
Ottawa: Wednesday, May 14, 2025 — Canadian Museum of Nature, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 opening)
Compensation: $20/hour
Overview: We are seeking personable and professional Event Registration Hostesses to support the Italian Trade Commission's Wine Tasting Events in Toronto and Ottawa. This is a one-day engagement in each city, ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills and a polished, service-oriented demeanor.
Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage guest check-in at the registration desk
• Cross-reference names against the RSVP list and mark attendance
• Distribute name badges and event materials
• Provide basic directions within the venue
• Maintain a clean and organized check-in area
• Represent the event and the Italian Trade Commission with professionalism

Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Prior experience in events, hospitality, or front-desk/reception roles is an asset
• Ability to remain composed and efficient in a busy event setting
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Professional attire is required (business formal)
