Our client in Edmonton is looking for an Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to help with day-to-day office and accounting tasks. This role includes answering phones, managing invoices, payroll, scheduling, and tracking job costs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office administration and reception duties
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, payables, receivables, and payroll
  • Support job scheduling and track project costs
  • Assist with reporting and month-end/year-end processes using Excel
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support as needed
  • Complete various errands such as bank deposits (vehicle required)

Key Competencies:

  • Post-secondary education in administration or accounting preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in a similar role
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices is an asset
