We are seeking an on-site Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Coordinator to support our hiring efforts, primarily focused on recruiting instructors and faculty members working out of the Surrey, BC campus.
About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers. This entry-level position is ideal for an HR professional with 3+ years of experience and a CPHR designation (or in progress), looking to specialize in faculty recruitment.
This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future advancements within the college.
Rate Range: $50,000-$55,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in posting job vacancies, managing applications, and tracking candidates.
  • Support resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate recruitment data.
  • Conduct reference checks and ensure compliance with hiring procedures.
  • Assist in new hire onboarding, documentation, and orientation programs.
  • Develop relationships with professional networks to attract talent.
  • Ensure adherence to BC employment laws and HR policies in all hiring activities.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • CPHR designation (Certified Professional in Human Resources) or in progress, required.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Office 365 platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of employment standards and hiring regulations in BC
