We're looking for a 442A Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Can Art Aluminum Extrusion in Brampton, ON. This is a full-time role with competitive pay.

The position follows a 12-hour continental shift, rotating between days and nights, with every other weekend off.

What You'll Do

  • Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control devices

  • Perform regular preventative maintenance to reduce downtime

  • Work with PLC systems (primarily Allen-Bradley) to diagnose and resolve issues

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

  • Maintain clear, accurate maintenance records

  • Assist in training apprentices or less experienced team members

  • Always follow safety regulations and company policies (OHSA, ESA, etc.)

What You Bring

  • Valid 442A Industrial Electrician license (We may consider 309A with strong industrial experience)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting

  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and PLC diagnostics

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and code specifications

  • Experience in metal processing, die casting, or stamping is a strong asset
