Matrix HR is seeking experienced Pressure-Testing Technicians to support energy, pipeline, and process-plant projects across Western Canada. In this role, you'll perform critical pneumatic and hydrostatic tests on piping systems, vessels, and equipment—ensuring integrity, safety, and compliance under all conditions. Role Summary:
- Conduct pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure tests on piping, vessels, and equipment, maintaining rigorous safety and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up pressure testing rigs and calibrate gauges
- Execute hydrostatic/pneumatic tests per ASME B31.3/B31.4 codes
- Monitor pressure holds; identify and isolate leaks
- Record test data and prepare compliance reports
- Collaborate with NDT and inspection teams
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' pressure testing or inspection support experience
- Knowledge of ASME, API, and CSA pressure piping standards
- Certifications: H2S Alive, TDG, and Pressure Test Operator ticket (if applicable)
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Excellent communication and safety reporting practices
