About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer with 25 years of experience to join our in-house team as a creative prime and brand advisor. This is not just a production role you will serve as the organizations go-to design expert, You will play a key role in shaping and elevating the visual identity of CLV's growing multi-family real estate portfolio. Working at the intersection of branding, marketing, development, and executive communications, you will create high-impact visual assets that speak to residents, partners, and investors alike.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, brings strategic thinking to creative work, and is ready to own the visual voice of a dynamic, community-oriented company.

In addition to the duties typically expected of a graphic design professional, you will be responsible for:

Creative Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Act as the in-house design lead, advising internal teams on brand consistency, visual storytelling, and creative direction.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and executives to develop high-quality visual materials for investor and corporate presentations, and internal communications.
  • Provide expert guidance on brand evolution, including input on visual identity, tone, and cross-platform design strategy.

Marketing, Leasing & Advertising Support

  • Partner with the marketing and leasing teams to craft property-specific assets that drive occupancy and reinforce our brand story.
  • Create targeted marketing materials for digital and print use: brochures, signage, social media content, property listings, event collateral, and more.

Design Execution & Production Oversight

  • Deliver high-quality, production-ready files across a wide range of digital and print formats.
  • Manage creative asset libraries, templates, and brand standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Liaise with external vendors as needed to oversee printing and production quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across marketing, development, leasing, and executive leadership.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and campaign planning meetings to align design work with broader business objectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh thinking to each project.

Qualifications

  • 25 years of professional experience in graphic design, ideally in real estate, architecture, property development, or a creative agency.
  • Proven ability to advise and work with senior leadership, with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); experience with Canva, Figma, or other collaborative tools is an asset.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of corporate and marketing design work across print and digital platforms.
  • Solid understanding of branding, typography, layout, and storytelling in a corporate environment.
  • Experience producing high-quality assets for investor decks, marketing campaigns, and cross-channel branding.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
  • Bonus: experience with motion graphics, video editing, or light web design
