About the Opportunity
As theGrowth Communications Strategist, your job is to tell Kambos story in ways that generate interest, leads, partnerships, and funding. Youll work closely with the Growth team to write high-converting, high-integrity contentproposals, pitch decks, campaigns, and LinkedIn content that turns heads. Youll also track and test whats working so were always improving our reach and resonance.
This role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives on deadlines, works quickly, and enjoys switching between client-centric messaging and creative storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and produce strategic contentthat supports business development and growth (e.g., grants, pitch decks, partner campaigns, and newsletters).
- Collaborate with the Growth teamto tailor messaging to client needs and sales targets.
- Own the communications side of proposals, including gathering content, developing key messages, aligning tone, and ensuring consistency across submissions.
- Develop and distribute external-facing narrativesthat elevate Kambos brand in key markets and channels (LinkedIn, events, conferences).
- Drive thought leadership, from op-eds and abstracts to ghostwritten pieces and speaker submissions.
- Identify and execute on partner marketing opportunitiesthat increase visibility for both Kambo and collaborators.
- Plan, manage, and attend lead-generation events, including webinars and conferences.
- Track performance and engagement metricson outbound communications and provide recommendations to refine strategy.
- Work closely with the Strategic Communications Leadto ensure all external materials meet brand standards.
- Provide internal org-wide updates on new and concluding projects.
- SEO, content optimization, running or testing paid ads as needed.

- Understands business objectives and can translate strategy into action quickly.
- Is deeply collaborative and knows how to align across Growth, Program teams, and Marcomms.
- Can bothplan and execute events or campaigns, and dont shy away from spreadsheets, CRMs, or tracking tools.
- Has experience with social impact work.
- Is technologically savvy (we use tools like HubSpot, Notion, Canva, and Webflow).
- Is responsible and able to proactively identify opportunities for impact.
- Is curious with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving in a dynamic industry.
