The ideal candidate will have experience with contract administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage contracts for architecture and construction projects
- Ensure that all contract terms and conditions are met by all parties
- Review and analyze contract documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that contract requirements are being met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation
- Negotiate and resolve any contract disputes
- Coordinate with legal counsel as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on contract administration best practices
- Other duties as assigned by senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration for architecture or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in contract management software, such as Procore or Aconex
- Familiarity with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
- Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient design principles
- Experience with LEED certification a plus
Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 / Annually
