Who we need

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President, Client Services, Retail Fixtures, to lead the delivery and account growth strategy for our retail fixture programs across North America. This executive leadership role is critical in advancing client satisfaction, overseeing full-cycle project execution, and contributing to the companys long-term growth. You will lead a blended team of Account Directors, Program Managers, and Installation professionals while collaborating closely with Sales, Design, Estimating, and Operations teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

This is a full-time opportunity that will be remote or hybrid depending on the location of the successful candidate. This position requires the flexibility to support clients across different time zones and travel to both clients and our head office in Toronto, Canada as required.

As our new Vice President, Client Services, you will focus on:

  • Leadership and strategy. You will provide day-to-day leadership for a highly capable and self-sufficient team managing programs across North America. You will mentor, coach, and grow your team through thoughtful performance development and hands-on support. You will drive alignment between client expectations and internal delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to plan capacity, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain quality. You will run weekly Retail Environment Team Leadership meetings to ensure clear communication and consistency across accounts and projects.
  • Sales and service leadership. You will bring experience leading both sales and service teams in a construction, fixtures, or manufacturing environment. You understand how to guide both pre-sale client development and post-sale project execution. You will collaborate with internal Sales and Marketing teams to identify organic growth opportunities and assess new prospects. You will help support strategic pursuits where needed and ensure that new wins are transitioned seamlessly into delivery. You will play a key role in growing existing accounts and reinforcing Arrays reputation as a trusted partner.
  • Client relationship management. You will act as the senior escalation point and executive sponsor for key client accounts. You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including procurement, development, and merchandising leaders. You will lead quarterly business reviews and client check-ins to gather feedback, discuss performance, and align on future plans. You will ensure that internal teams are clear on client priorities and that all programs are aligned to scope, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Project ownership. You will oversee all phases of custom fixture delivery, including design validation, estimating, production, and installation. You will ensure strong collaboration between internal teams to maintain alignment with client expectations. You will intervene when needed to resolve challenges, remove barriers, and ensure timelines are maintained. You will use program and financial data to assess progress and make informed decisions. You will guide your team to maintain high standards in delivery, reporting, and relationship management.
  • Financial management. You will monitor budget performance, margins, and forecasting for your teams portfolio. You will track budget-to-actual variance and use insights to drive continuous improvement. You will oversee client financial reporting and work with finance and operations to ensure strong fiscal management. You will contribute to pricing strategies and manage costs through a clear understanding of scope, materials, and resourcing. You will have visibility into your teams P&L and use financial acumen to guide business decisions.
  • Stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with senior leadership, design, estimating, and production teams to ensure strategic and operational alignment. You will represent Client Services in company-wide meetings, leadership forums, and townhalls. You will regularly report on progress, performance, and risk. You will be a key driver of communication across departments and an advocate for team needs and client goals.

You have:

  • The background. You have a diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. You have led sales and/or service teams in the construction, fixtures, or retail merchandising industry. You bring a strong understanding of millwork, casework, or retail fixture delivery. You have experience managing end-to-end project execution and coordinating install teams across North America. You have worked with high-profile clients and know how to deliver on complex, high-visibility programs.
  • The leadership. You have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in both sales and delivery functions. You understand how to drive performance, coach others, and create a culture of accountability and growth. You have experience managing cross-functional teams and guiding individuals to deliver independent portfolios of work. You know how to remove roadblocks and support team success.
  • The project management expertise. You have overseen multi-phase, multi-site programs from design through installation. You understand how to manage budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communication. You can guide teams across design, estimating, procurement, production, and install to ensure delivery success. You are experienced in CRM platforms, forecasting, and executive-level reporting. PowerPoint skills are required. PMP or Agile certification is considered an asset.
  • The accountability. You are decisive, analytical, and results-driven. You understand how to balance internal capacity with external demand and how to adapt when challenges arise. You are comfortable being accountable for business performance and understand how to manage against key metrics. You approach every challenge with a solution mindset and are trusted to lead with integrity and impact.
  • The interpersonal skills. You are confident, articulate, and able to present effectively to internal and external audiences. You can represent the company with professionalism and clarity and build strong rapport with executive stakeholders. You collaborate effectively across departments and know how to influence outcomes even when you do not hold direct authority. You can mediate conflict, guide strategic conversations, and elevate team culture.
  • The flexibility. You hold a valid passport and drivers licence. You are available for travel across North America and can work flexible hours to accommodate client time zones.
