We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual with a strong interest in catering services to join our team as a Catering Manager.
The right candidate must have experience in the food & beverage industry in areas that include but are not limited to corporate, private, and wedding events on site and off-site, experience with event planning in the office and during events, food & beverage management, event logistics, and more.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise banquet staff by coordinating work assignments, evaluating employee's performance, providing related on the job training and orientation requirements.
- Coordinate catering services for large and small events.
- Manage all logistics of assigned events
- Ensure and be responsible that established levels of quality, presentation and service are adhered to.
- Ensure banquet set up sheet is accurately completed and list is properly put together so there is nothing missing.
- Ensure banquet room is completely set up in accordance with function sheet.
- Load and unload catering vans.
- Assign specific jobs, tasks, sections etc to staff prior to service.
- Ensure attention to detail for set up, prior and during service.
- Be responsible for bar consumption sheets.
- Ensure cleanness and organization.
- Other related duties as assigned.
