Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts (40 hrs/week)

Rockstar Recruiting is currently seeking a Journeyman or Experienced Heavy Equipment Painter to join a leading industrial manufacturing team in Calgary, Alberta. This is a great opportunity for skilled painters who take pride in their work and are looking for a stable, long-term role in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment.

We are hiring professionals with hands-on experience painting heavy-duty equipment, construction machinery, trailers, or commercial vehicles, particularly those who have worked with Endura, PPG, or similar industrial coatings. If you're confident working with industrial painting systems and take full ownership of your tools, processes, and results, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and layout boards with minimal supervision

• Prepare and apply primers and finish coats to equipment and components using industrial spray or brush systems

• Work with high-ratio pressure pumps and two-part epoxy and polyurethane products

• Maintain painting equipment, tools, and workspace in proper condition

• Ensure all work is completed following safety protocols and company procedures

• Mentor less experienced team members as needed

• Perform related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Journeyman certification or equivalent industry experience in industrial or heavy equipment painting

• Experience painting construction equipment, trucks, trailers, off-road machinery, or oil and gas components

• Skilled in using high-ratio pressure pumps and industrial-grade coating systems

• Knowledge of safety procedures in an industrial environment, including use of respirators and handling of hazardous materials

• Forklift and overhead crane certification are assets

What We're Not Looking For:

• Experience focused solely on prepping, blasting, or coating without hands-on painting

• Background limited to residential, light commercial, or standard automotive painting
