Be a part of the initial team to grow and operate a regionally significant new underground mine development that is rapidly becoming the future of the iconic Red Lake gold mining district in Ontario, Canada.

Reporting to the
Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will work day shift on a 14-on / 14-off rotation, and safely plan preventative and routine maintenance of mine equipment and provide overall production target support for the Red Lake Madsen Mine team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance plans with minimal operational disruption

Follow safe working practices and site safety guidelines

Identify needs of the equipment and assign resources to maintain programs

Communication & Coordination: Facilitate clear communication between maintenance teams, production, and management

Monitor the performance of equipment

Ensure proper equipment record keeping

Prepare budgets and forecasts

Recommend replacement equipment and mechanical and maintenance upgrades

Prepare various documents, reports for the respective department

Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

3+ years experience working as a Mobile Maintenance Planner within the mining industry

High School Diploma

Have good analytical capabilities

Experience using CMMS system (Pronto), and proficient in Microsoft Excel

Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail

Proven safe work approach

Excellent proven team player approach to work

Valid drivers license

Previous underground mining experience
