Veterinary Assistant Wanted

Position Details: Our ideal Candidate would start as a Veterinary Assistant and progress to a customer care / receptionist role. As a Veterinary Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized work environment, holding animals to assist the veterinarians and veterinary technicians, communicating with clients. Pay range is dependent on the employee's abilities and skill level. Bonuses and raises awarded based on merit and progression through training.

A successful applicant must be able to adapt quickly while remaining focused and not getting overwhelmed.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and time commitments: Our busy schedule makes it a necessity that we stay on task to efficiently treat our patients.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is an asset but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask while staying focused in a fast-paced environment to ensure patient safety.
- Physical fitness - Ability to lift and restrain medium-sized dogs (50 lbs).
- Must have Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status.
