RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Manager, Business Development and Marketing, and working with corporate head office(s), in addition to the Project Management Team, your responsibilities will be to: • Create and update content on the company's WordPress website to ensure it remains current and effective for user engagement • Use data and analytics to track and monitor website, e-mail, and social media traffic and optimize campaigns based on the best-performing strategies • Contribute to business objectives through creative storytelling and advocacy, and identify ways to promote the company and affiliated companies across various platforms including email, presentations, social media, website, factsheets, executive summaries, brochures, etc. • Design and edit marketing materials and digital assets using tools like Adobe, Illustrator, and Canva to ensure consistency with brand guidelines • Collaborate with management to create press releases, conduct media outreach, and host media availabilities • Oversee the company's brand and ensure consistency across all marketing and communication channels and assist with rebrand of new templates and documents to meet brand guidelines • Develop and implement multi-channel digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media • Research competitors and their digital marketing strategies, identify potential opportunities, and provide recommendations to actualize them QUALIFICATIONS: • Post-Secondary Education in a related field (i.e. communications, journalism, public relations, business, etc.) • 6 years+ experience in marketing communications or public relations • Experience with website content management systems - WordPress experience preferred • Thorough understanding of SEO principles and SEM, PPC campaigns (including Google, LinkedIn Ads, social media) • Possess a strong knowledge in writing and editing copy for both traditional and digital marketing collateral (Adobe, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) • Understanding and competency in HubSpot and other CRM tools • Familiarity and experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with leadership, clients and cross-functional teams • Proven experience in managing social media channels successfully; understanding of current social media trends and digital marketing best practices • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team BENEFITS: • Team building • RRSP Matching • Performance Based Bonuses • Mentorship program • Career development • Paid vacation • Paid personal days • Quarterly town halls • Hybrid work location • Flexible work schedule • Continuous education • Corporate events All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be a resident, and residing in Calgary or be willing to relocate to Calgary, to be considered for the position.
