Calling all Toronto tech scene insiders and master networkers!
If you're the kind of person who's effortlessly making connections at TechTO or a MaRS meetup, and you're genuinely fascinated by what's happening in AI, SaaS, and digital products, we want to connect with you.
We're offering a unique part-time opportunity to leverage your natural networking skills. Your role is to be our credible, human presence at key startup events – not to sell, but to listen, engage, and identify exciting opportunities by sparking authentic conversations with founders and leaders.
This is a part-time, flexible, and event-based role offering excellent hourly compensation and performance bonuses. If you're already plugged into the local ecosystem or looking for a meaningful way to participate in it, this is a great fit. The work is flexible, event-based (mostly evenings), and paid hourly — with the potential to evolve into a full-time business development or partnerships role if targets are met.
What You'll Do:
Represent our firm at events like TechTO, Startup Investor Drinks, MaRS meetups, Elevate Festival, Collision and more
Spark authentic conversations with subject matter experts launching new ventures and other leaders from the startup ecosystem
Listen for pain points or signals of digital product potential (we'll train you on what to look for)
Gather contact info, log brief notes, and hand off leads to our internal team
Be the credible, human face of our company in the ecosystem — no pitching required
We'd Love to Work With Someone Who:
Enjoys engaging conversations in event settings
Has a strong interest in innovation, tech, and productized services
Is confident mingling at professional events and knows how to “read the room”
Understands the basics of AI, SaaS, digital products, or tech consulting
Is looking for a low time commitment, high-impact role — with the potential for more
