Senior Estimator Emergency Restoration

Location: Vaughan, ON | Full-Time

A reputable and long-standing firm in the property restoration space is hiring a Senior Estimator to join its growing team.

Specializing in insurance-related restoration work, the company has built a strong reputation for professionalism, quality, and timely execution across a range of complex loss projects.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing high-value restoration projects, primarily in the insurance sector. This includes initial site assessments, developing scopes of work, preparing estimates, and maintaining client and insurance adjuster relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and outline restoration needs
• Develop detailed scopes and cost estimates using Xactimate
• Coordinate payment terms, including deductibles and progress billing
• Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with initial estimates and timelines
• Communicate with stakeholders including clients, adjusters, and trades
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in accordance with internal standards
• Participate in after-hours response rotation as needed
• 
  

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in restoration estimating
• Solid background handling property loss claims over $300K in value
• Experience with Xactimate software
• Familiarity with various construction trades and reading technical drawings
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
• Valid drivers license and personal vehicle required
