Matrix HR is seeking experienced N2-certified Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our client's dynamic team. Role Summary:

• Transport equipment and materials safely across worksites and terminals, ensuring on time delivery and adherence to all regulatory and client standards.

Class 1 Driver (N2-Certified) – $40/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 trucks (up to 60 tonnes GVW) for equipment and material transport
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; maintain daily logbooks
• Secure loads per OHS and client safety policies
• Navigate work zones in Alberta and B.C.; maintain constant communication with dispatch
• Report and coordinate vehicle maintenance and roadside issues

Qualifications:

• Valid Alberta Class 1 license with N2 endorsement
• Clean driver's abstract (no major violations in the past 5 years)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial or energy settings
• Certification in H2S Alive and WHMIS preferred
• Available for rotating shifts and occasional overtime

Class 3 Driver (N2 certified) – $38/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 3 straight-trucks and mid-size haulers (up to 20 tonnes GVW)
• Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections; log driving activity accurately
• Load, secure, and unload cargo per project specifications
• Communicate any delivery delays or issues with dispatch promptly
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to all access/site safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Valid Alberta Class 3 license
• Clean abstract with no major infractions in the last 5 years
• 1+ year of driving experience in industrial, oil & gas, or energy sectors
• Knowledge of TDG, GHG, H2S Alive, and confined-space entry procedures
• Strong communication and time-management skills
