Junior Project Manager

We are looking for a proactive Junior Project Manager to help lead and deliver successful software implementation projects across our organization. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that timelines are met, documentation is accurate, and communication flows smoothly across teams. The ideal candidate has foundational project management experience and is eager to take on increasing responsibility in managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee small to mid-sized projects or phases of larger initiatives.
  • Assist Project Managers in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Manage project documentation, budgets, and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes
  • Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and status trackers.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure version control.
  • Support continuous improvement and adherence to PM methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, including coordination or assistant PM roles.
  • Understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, MS Project, Monday.com or Jira).

This hybrid role welcomes candidates anywhere in the GTA. The successful candidate must be able to travel to our Oakville office and client sites across Canada as required.
